Punk Rock Princess

Happy Saturday!

I hope everyone has some exciting plans for the weekend?  I don't, but I'm feeling like I need a slow weekend to recoup a little bit :)

This is a fun mani that I wore earlier this week.  Kind of reminded me of Avril Lavigne when she first came out, hence the punk rock princess title ;)

For this look I used Illamasqua Scorn on my ring finger.  This is such a fun polish in that it dries kind of suede like.  I added a few glittery half stripes using OPI Which is Witch?

The remainder of my fingers have Orly Purple Crush, which is really a neon like pink that I absolutely love.  Then I stamped the stars with an image from Mash-49 and Konad Black.  The only thing I'm peeved about is the insane amount of bubbling that occurred after applying my top coat.  I guess I need to thin it out a little bit.

Regardless of the bubbling, I loved wearing this mani :)

Sparkly Puzzles

Hey lovelies!

This is the mani I immediately wore after bringing Elmer's glue home with me from the grocery store.  :)

I used Color Club Gingerbread and China Glaze Electrify on top of Essie Penny Talk as my accent nails.  Then using one of the new Bundle Monster plates I stamped on the puzzle pieces using Konad Black Special Polish.

This was so sparkly!  I don't usually wear full glitter manis so this was a little treat and I loved it.  It definitely cheered me up since I did this when I was feeling pretty sick (I'm better now, though :D)

Happy Tuesday, I hope you're all having a fabulous week so far!

Stamped Chevrons

Hi Loves!

I hope you're enjoying your weekend so far!  It's getting chilly here - I'm hoping that means the leaves will change soon!

Here's a cute mani I did this week.  I started off with a base of Essie Miss Fancy Pants, then stamped an image from BM-314 and Konad Black.  For the chevrons I started off using tape, but actually found it easier to freehand them, so that's what I did!

I used Orly Rock-It (red) and Orly Fowl Play (accent) for the chevrons :)

Have a great weekend!  Thanks for reading :)

Glittery Zebras

Hi lovelies!

Quick NOTD post - I have a migraine (which I never ever get so I don't know how to deal) and staring at the computer screen is making me have to squint!

I was in the mood for something a little 'over the top' last night and decided on this:

I started with 2 flawless coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, stamped the zebra pattern using BM-223 and Konad Black special polish.  Once that dried I used scotch tape and added two coats of NOPI - Kendall on the Katwalk.  I love this glitter - it's very "me" :)

Then to finish off and to add a little bit more bling I added a silver glitter strip using one of the Milani striping polishes :)

What do you all think - over the top or just right?
