Hi all!
Here is my entry for the second week of the Nail Polish Canada Holiday Challenge. This week's theme was decorations.. I ended up redo-ing these nails three times! Ha. I'm pretty pleased with how these turned out though :)
I created an 'abstract tree' I guess you can see, with a string of lights and 'hung' ornaments :)
I started with a base of Gosh Forest Floor then using a fan brush I created wisps with Color Club Not Just for Kelly Green, China Glaze Gaga For Green and OPI Gargatuan Green Grape.
Then using a black striping polish and various colours I painted on the lights on the tip of my nails, and finished things off by adding different sized and coloured rhinestones for the ornaments :)
If you like this manicure please click HERE and vote for me, or vote for which ever manicure you like best :)
Thanks a bunch!

Trimming the Tree
Hi all!
Here's my third and last installment for the Nail Polish Canada Christmas challenge :) This week's theme was decorations:
I decided to go with a simple tree dotticure! I love these kinds of manis, they're so simple but effective at the same time :)
The base of this mani is China Glaze Holly-Day and the dots are China Glaze Hey Sailor (red), Gosh Silver, Essie Beyond Cozy (champagne glitter), Color Club Holiday Splendor (green glitter) and Wet n Wild On a Trip (purple).
These aren't the best photos but a) my camera died and the charger is on C's ship for some reason (?) so the last 2 photos were taking with my HTC and b) it's gloomy and rainy as all heck in Halifax. A true maritime winter :P
If you like this mani and feel it deserves some of your votes, please click here and vote for it :D
Thanks in advance!

31 Days of Christmas: Christmas Tree
Hey guys!
Today's challenge was Christmas tree!
Today's challenge was Christmas tree!
Sally Hansen - Lacey Lilac
Sinful Colors - San Fransisco
I used a nail art brush to pain on the pinkie and middle finger trees, index and ring finger were dotted on, and the thumb I used a stamp from You Mix Cosmetics.. I like how the freehand trees turned out.. they were so simple and I just dotted on random colours for ornaments!
Hope you're all enjoying December, it seems to me as though it's FLYING!
Also side note: I likely won't be able to do many more days of the challenge as we'll be away this weekend to my in-laws before the boy and I fly to Ottawa to visit my family for the rest of December. Boo!
Thanks for looking!
