Good morning!
Here's a quickie post showing this cute mani that I wore a couple of weeks ago.
This mani started with a base of Essie Power Clutch, then using the dry brush method I added Essie Chinchilly and China Glaze Elephant Walk to create a neat marbled effect.
Then using Color Club Dressed for the Parade mixed with Konad White I stamped the zig zag pattern from BM 423 on my pointer and middle fingers.
On my ring finger is an image from Mash 37.
I mixed the white and yellow polishes on the plate itself, I covered the image with half yellow and half white and scraped a bunch of times quickly to mix the colours and make the yellow opaque so it showed up on the dark base. I followed a tutorial but I can't find it anymore.. if anyone knows who's tutorial that was please share!
Then on my pinky I used one coat of Maybelline Color Show Street Art - Green Graffiti. I love these matte glitters :)
Have a great Monday everyone!

Summer Picnic
Hey loves
This is a 'from the vault' mani that I did when the weather was less than ideal - I'm so over the cold and grey weather. Thankfully things are looking up a little bit and I feel like summer may actually get here!

All polishes used are from American Apparel, from pointer to pinkie we have Neon Yellow, Neon Green, Neon Red & Neon Orange. Original names, huh? :) I love these polishes though, they're so bright and cheery.
I then stamped the gingham patter with a mash plate whose number I cannot recall at the moment. This mani reminded me of table cloths you would put out for a picnic out in the park or something :)

Punk Rock Princess
Happy Saturday!
I hope everyone has some exciting plans for the weekend? I don't, but I'm feeling like I need a slow weekend to recoup a little bit :)
This is a fun mani that I wore earlier this week. Kind of reminded me of Avril Lavigne when she first came out, hence the punk rock princess title ;)

For this look I used Illamasqua Scorn on my ring finger. This is such a fun polish in that it dries kind of suede like. I added a few glittery half stripes using OPI Which is Witch?
The remainder of my fingers have Orly Purple Crush, which is really a neon like pink that I absolutely love. Then I stamped the stars with an image from Mash-49 and Konad Black. The only thing I'm peeved about is the insane amount of bubbling that occurred after applying my top coat. I guess I need to thin it out a little bit.
Regardless of the bubbling, I loved wearing this mani :)

Nude & Blue
Hi loves!
I hope you all had a good Easter weekend if you celebrate. If you don't, I hope you still enjoyed a long weekend :)
Just a quickie today - my parents (and grandparents) are coming in later today from Ontario, which is the first time in the nine years that I've lived out of province that they visit for the sake of visiting and not just dropping me off for the school year. I still have a little bit of tidying up to do before they get here, but I'm soo excited for visitors :)

For this I started with wanting to use Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - Mermaid's Tale which I used on my pinky, then just went with the blue theme.
On my ring finger I have Revlon Downtown stamped using a Mash plate and Konad White polish. My middle and pointer fingers have OPI Skull and Glossbones with some loose glitter than I placed around the nail to frame it, then topped it off with Finger Paints Flecked.
(posting this photo because you can see some of the flakies a little bit better)
This was such a 'fresh' mani to wear! Perfect for Spring :)
Happy Tuesday all, thanks for reading!

Stamped Chevrons 2.0
Hi loves!
Happy Tuesday :) I just want to say thanks for sticking with me even though my blogging hasn't been that wonderful lately. I'm trying to finish my grad degree, all while staying busy and so to not get too sad about the fact that my guy is deployed for another 4 months (which, is flying by and I actually don't have time to be sad, sometimes I feel like I'm handling this a little too well, lol).
So - on to the nails shall we? Here's my current mani:

I started out with a base of OPI Steady as she Rose, which.. I loooooove. I should reach for this light pink a lot more than I do, it's just so pretty.
I then stamped the floral-like pattern using black stamping polish and Mash-43 plate, and finished off by free-handing chevron tips using OPI Anti-Bleak.
I really love the stamped funky-french look, I have previously sported a similar mani, seen here :) I just wish my top coat hadn't smeared the freaking stamp! I'm thinking of re-investing in Seche Vite simply for the stamped manis, it's the only top coat that hasn't smeared my designs so far!
Thanks for reading!!
